
Nancy Aronson is a seasoned criminal defense attorney known for her compassionate advocacy and dedication to justice. A graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law, Nancy distinguished herself early on as the Moot Court champion at Oxford University, a top writer in the Women’s Law Journal competition, and her class’s Baccalaureate Speaker. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in English Literature and History from Claremont McKenna College, where she graduated with honors.
Nancy began her career with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office before transitioning to criminal defense with Conflict Defense Associates, representing clients in both private and appointed cases. Over the years, she has built a strong reputation for combining rigorous advocacy with genuine empathy, particularly when serving clients facing mental health challenges.
For more than two decades, Nancy has also served as a Judge Pro Tem for Ventura County’s Homeless Court and Stand Down programs, where she is celebrated for her compassion toward veterans and individuals working toward recovery. Her service has earned her special recognition from the Ventura Superior Court for her extraordinary commitment to the community.
