Rising Stars Selection Process

Being chosen as one of Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars is no small feat. The rigorous, patented selection process begins with a formal nomination by the top attorneys in the state. Nominating attorneys must have personally observed the lawyer in action to have them considered for the next phase of the selection process.

Once nominated, attorneys are put through an extensive, independent research process. The attorney-led research staff looks at several indicators of “peer recognition and professional achievement,” including the attorney’s verdicts and settlements, experience, honors and awards, certifications, scholarly lectures, and more. 

Next, the attorney is evaluated by a panel of their peers in the same practice area before the final selection is published. Only individuals who are either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less are considered for the distinction as a Rising Star.

Danielle is a graduate of the prestigious Northwestern University in Chicago, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in English before attending the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While earning her law degree, Ms. Tamir competed with her Moot Court team at the national level.
